Win prizes with Premier's new Canada brochure

Premier Holidays has rolled out a campaign with Destination Canada to highlight the message to book early to ensure availability.

Unveiled to coincide with the operator's new 2018 Canada and Alaska brochure launch, the campaign will promote the winter and shoulder season with a selection of tactical offers to the most popular locations.

Special offers include a seven-night Western Journey escorted tour from £1,775, stopping off in Banff, Whistler and Vancouver; a 12-night Heritage Trail self-drive taking in places including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Niagara Falls, from £1,499; and the seven-night Journey Through the Clouds rail and coach tour from £2,499, staying in Vancouver, Kamloops, Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise and Calgary and including two days on board the Rocky Mountaineer.

Agents can earn up to £150 for every inclusive Canada booking made during the campaign. Promotional materials including posters and flyers can be downloaded from Premier's trade website, and a Canada themed video has also been created for agents to share on social media.

As part of the campaign, Premier is promoting the Canada Specialist programme and is recruiting agents to complete online training to become experts in selling the destination.

Premier Holidays' 2018 Canada and Alaska brochure is valid for travel until March 2019 and has been extended to 68 pages. Following an overhaul, the new brochure is more focused towards tours and experiences in each region.

Among the new product for 2018 are a number of new tours in Eastern Canada, including a 13-night Maritime Magic Treasures self-drive tour of Nova Scotia from £2,169; a 19-night Tides and Parks of Atlantic Canada self-drive from £2,899, which covers all of the highlights of Atlantic Canada. The Atlantic Canada region also been given more of a focus with its own dedicated section in the brochure.

The operator has unveiled two new city break packages for 2018: a Ottawa Highlights city break package from £1,199 for three nights, including a city cycling tour, river cruise and Ottawa Haunted Walking Tour; and a Quebec City Highlights three-night package from £999, with a city tour and culinary tour with tasting excursion included.

The number of Canada side trips and excursion have been extended to give agents even more options. Highlights include two new side trips in Western Canada – a two-night Whistler self-drive from £375 and a three-night Thompson Okanagan Region self-drive from £369. A new Niagara Falls side trip from £279 includes a voyage to the falls boat tour and dinner overlooking the falls.

Premier's new Smart Choice brand features for the first time, which is designed to offer excellent value by utilising the very best airfare, a minimum 3* accommodation and options for shared transfers. New product under the Smart Choice umbrella includes a seven-night Western journey escorted tour from £1,499.

Travel agents can win flights to Canada with Air Canada, a retro Air Canada suitcase and a food hamper filled with Canadian goodies to mark the brochure launch.

 Agents should check their brochure launch packs for a golden ticket which will reveal whether they're an on the spot winner. Alternatively, they can enter the competition on Premier's trade website before November 30th.
