Alaska is added to Canada portfolio for the first time

Press release date: 26/01/2017

Alaska has been added as a new destination for Premier Holidays' 2017 Canada brochure alongside a host of tours and excursions across the country.

Valid until March 2018, the operator's latest Canada brochure has introduced the North American state alongside The Yukon, with new self-drive tours to showcase how the two destinations combine well together. The 13-night Yukon and Alaska Explorer, from £2,899pp, starts in Whitehorse and enables clients to visit the rugged Yukon and Alaska's dramatic landscape in one trip. The Alaska section also includes suggested places to visit and a number of hotels in Alaska and The Yukon.

The brochure features more comprehensive destination information to help agents better sell each region, with dedicated sections on Vancouver, Ontario, Quebec, Vancouver Islands and Whistler and the Rockies. The operator has also launched three city highlights packages to Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver including accommodation, return flights and transfers and visits to main attractions; the four-night independent tours enable travellers to explore top landmarks and can be enjoyed as a stand-alone trip or as part of a wider holiday.

Clients can now see the Northern Lights with Premier Holidays following the introduction of a great value three-night package up The Yukon for a chance to experience the stunning light show. An additional excursion on the famous Rocky Mountaineer rail journey has also been added by the operator for 2017; the Grand Rail Circle is an epic 12-night part train, part coach trip comprising two unique rail routes.

Other launches by Premier Holidays include the 14-night Totem Peaks self-drive, taking in the classic Rockies drive to Banff and Jasper and continuing north to Prince George and Prince Rupert; and the Western Canada Rocky Mountain Experience, a 16-night self-drive tour travelling south from the Rockies to Waterton Lakes National Park on the USA border.

Luxury escorted coach tours have been introduced including the Trans-Canadian Grandeur – an amazing 15-night journey across Canada – which is ideal for high end clients with a higher budget.

Travel agents can benefit from Premier Holidays' agent incentive, earning £25-£150 for every inclusive Canada booking made, dependent on booking value. The operator is also offering low deposits of £50 on bookings to Canada.
