- The best views in the city are free as are the majority of the museums and galleries, but if you’re thinking of taking advantage of the many excursions on offer it may be worth buying an Edinburgh Pass. These can be obtained from the tourist board’s website and are just £26.50 per adult giving you a free return airport transfer, and free tickets to all the major attractions
- Car hire is easy in Edinburgh but opt for one of the local organisations such as Arnold Clark, Condor as you may get a better deal.
- Cycle hire is around £15 per day and is a lovely way to see the city.
