Day 1: Fly to Singapore.

Day 2 Singapore: On arrival you will be transferred to your hote.

Day 3 Singapore: At leisure to explore. Options include bustling Chinatown, viewing the skyline from the Singapore Flyer, iconic Raffles Hotel and the shops of Orchard Road.

Day 4 Singapore/Cruise: At leisure before you are transferred to the port where you board Queen Mary 2.

Day 5 Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia: The bustling city of Kuala Lumpur has a fusion of Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures. Savour the intriguing jumble of Moorish architecture and stately parks, then take in the view from the soaring Petronas Towers, the fabulous twin emblems of modern KL.

Day 6 Penang, Malaysia: Penang is an alluring combination of golden beaches and cultural gems. Along the north coast, Penang’s most famous beach is lined with luxury hotels while Malay kampongs sprinkle across the countryside scented with cloves and nutmeg. Admire the reclining Buddha and the 1,000 gilded statues of Kek Lok Si Temple or see the elaborate clan house of the Chinese Khoo Khongsi.

Day 7 Langkawi, Malaysia: This cluster of 99 islands boasts palm-fringed beaches that are the envy of all Malaysia, as well as an abundance of other natural wonders shrouded in folklore.

Days 8-9 At sea Whether watching or partaking, Queen Mary 2 offers something for every sports enthusiast. From the modern gym, sports courts, swimming pools or live sport on television, there is plenty to entertain you.

Day 10 Chennai, India: The capital of the Tamil Nadu state is one of the world’s fastest growing cities and the gateway to southern India.

Days 11-12 At sea: There’s always something new to try, from wine programmes and enrichment lectures, to dancing and yoga or pilates.

Day 13 Cochin, India: Set out on the Malabar coast amid small islands and narrow inlets, this fascinating port, once a major stop along the Spice Route, features a history dating back to Roman times. Walk along the winding streets lined with 15th century Portuguese house, visit the Mattancheri Palace with its exquisite murals or perhaps take a cruise through the famous Kerala backwaters.

Days 14-16 At sea: Spend your time relaxing in the large spa or browse the books at the largest library at sea.

Day 17 Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: This modern island city reflects the opulence of the seven United Arab Emirates of which it is capital. Discover duty-free shopping in countless grand malls or stroll along the seafront Corniche. Gaze at the white domes of the vast Sheikh Zayed Mosque or escape into the desert for a Bedouin feast or a ride across the dunes.

Day 18 Dubai: After disembarking you are transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 19 Dubai Don’t miss the iconic Burj Khalifa for spectacular panoramic views. Alternatively, visit an atmospheric souk, enjoy thrills and spills at a waterpark or perhaps indulge with afternoon tea at Burj Al Arab.

Day 20 Dubai: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Alternatively, why not extend your stay in Dubai?
