Fort Lauderdale 1 night
Oasis of the Seas 7 nights

Day 1: Fly to Fort Lauderdale on the east coast of Florida. On arrival make your way to your hotel.

Day 2 Port Canaveral/Cruise: Morning at leisure to relax or perhaps take a stroll along the beach before making your way to Port Canaveral to board Oasis of the Seas. The ship departs at 4.30pm and sets sail for the bewitching Caribbean islands.

Day 3 Nassau, The Bahamas: Much of the day is spent in Nassau where you can snorkel in clear blue lagoons or perhaps take a stroll around this atmospheric town and soak up the hustle and bustle. A variety of shore excursions can be booked and include the chance to interact with dolphins at Atlantis Dolphin Cay or perhaps go on a glass-bottom boat tour.

Day 4 At sea: A chance to sit back, put your feet up and soak up the Caribbean sunshine as you laze poolside. If you're feeling energetic, it's a great opportunity to explore some of the amazing activities on offer. Feel the adrenalin rush on the zip line that zooms along nine decks, ride the waves at the Flowrider surf simulator, go rock climbing on the Rock Wall or enjoy a game or two on the full-sized sports court.

Day 5 Charlotte Amalie (St Thomas), US Virgin Islands: While the beaches and ocean are beautiful, there is one thing that really sets St Thomas apart - shopping. Browse through the shop-lined streets of Charlotte Amalie and find out why St Thomas is known as the "duty free shopping capital of the world". Other fun things to do on the island include travelling to Mountain Top for spectacular views of Magens Bay; checking out Coral World Marine Park or perhaps taking a brief harbour cruise.

Day 6 Philipsburg, St Maarten: Experience Dutch and French culture as well as gorgeous coastline, lush tropical landscapes and plenty of duty-free shopping. If lazing the day away isn't for you, sporting adventures include touring the saltwater lagoons by kayak, embarking on a snorkelling expedition through Shipwreck Cove or experiencing St Maarten's vibrant history by bicycle.

Days 7-8 At sea: Two full days at sea. Make time to relax by booking a soothing spa treatment or head to the adult only solarium where you can swim and sunbathe. For those who love to keep fit, you can work up a sweat in the fitness centre and for something totally different, get your skates on at the ice rink! Head to the Boardwalk for all the fun of the fair at this retro-themed promenade which even has a carousel. As each day draws to a close you may wish to watch a stage show in the Royal Theatre, enjoy a movie under the stars or head to the casino and hope that Lady Luck is smiling on you.

Day 9 Port Canaveral: Disembark and transfer to the airport for your onward journey, or alternatively why not extend your holiday in Fort Lauderdale?
