Travelling in style: Rovos Rail currently operates three trains all of which have an observation car, one or two dining cars and two lounges. All meals and drinks are included. Lunch is elegant yet casual, with a jacket and tie required for the slightly more formal dinner.
Accommodation: In pullman cabin with private shower, air-conditioning, hairdryer, mini bar (drinks included) and a safe. Deluxe suites and larger Royal suites are also available and offer a separate bath. Both cabins have the service of a cabin steward.
Pretoria to Cape Town (or vice versa)
3 days (2 nights)
Day 1: Depart Pretoria mid afternoon.
Day 2: Stop mid morning at Kimberley and tour the Diamond Museum followed by a tram ride.
Day 3: Short visit to the historic town of Matjiesfontein in the morning, before continuing south. Arrival into Cape Town late afternoon.
Departures: From Cape Town on most Mondays and Pretoria on most Tuedays & Fridays. Please ask for dates.
Meals: All inclusive. Please advise us if you have any meal requests at the time of booking.
Sightseeing: Included as outlined.
