Namibia Destination Guide

To the north west of South Africa lie the desert dunes, rocky plains, wide open spaces and never-ending skies of Namibia. Visitors constantly refer to its contrasts, experiencing close encounters with desert-adapted elephants in the wild, enjoying the unusual German colonial architecture of the capital Windhoek with its fascinating melting pot of people and cultures and the coastal town of Swakopmund.

The eerie Skeleton Coast is where the world’s oldest desert, the Namib, meets the Atlantic Ocean. Along the eastern border with Botswana lie the dunes of the Kalahari Desert and to the north the Caprivi Strip - with its complex network of rivers, channels and islands.

Perfect for those who wish to experience the wildlife, vast landscapes and fascinating cultural diversity of a new destination, Namibia offers all the benefits of the first-world infrastructure whilst leaving visitors awe-struck by its wide-open spaces, ancient history and natural beauty.
