NEW PRODUCTS IN PREMIER HOLIDAYS LATEST AUSTRALIA BROCHURE
Australia & New Zealand brochure expands choice of offering
Press release date: 05/01/2010
“Considering we only launched this product less than a year ago, the pick-up has been fantastic,” says Premier Holidays’ Managing Director, Susan Papworth.
“The conversion rate on enquiries made to our call centre is double our highest average conversion rate. Due to this strong demand, we have expanded our offering to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.”
Fantastic new additions to the brochure include a seven-night self-drive tour from Brisbane to Cairns via Whitsunday Islands. Explore the stunning coastline of central and northern Queensland, famed for having sunshine 300 years of the year, in a leisurely style.
Another new addition is the inclusion of two pages of luxury boutique hotels in New Zealand. Guests can choose from a selection of intimate family homes, lodges, country manors or even farms, across both North Island and South Island, designed to offer the personal touch.
“Our visitors to New Zealand wanted to stay somewhere a bit different,” says Clare Smith, Product Manager, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Pacific, Premier Holidays. “So now they have the option to upgrade for a special occasion, or stop off en route for a night or two, depending on their budget.
“The hotel owners know the destination and can give advice to guests about where to visit. They also include unique little touches, like homemade sweets on the pillow for turn-down.”
Premier Holidays Australia & New Zealand brochure also features new properties in the Cook Islands, South Pacific. A range of hotels and resorts have been added on the main island of Rarotonga, and one of the islands, Aitutaki, which has a spectacular lagoon.
“Cook Islands have good connections to Los Angeles so they make a great twin-centre holiday. They’re also a great alternative to the Maldives for a honeymoon destination,” Smith remarks.
“As a specialist and long-established tour operator for the US and Asian markets, Premier Holidays’ staff are able to offer excellent advice on stopovers, or on combining holidays in Australia, the US and Asia.
“Fiji is selling really well,” Smith continues. “Some airlines are giving free stopovers there, so there’s been a big pick-up. As a result, we’ve included more island getaways and typical Fijian experiences.”
The brochure was launched early December and is valid for travel to March 2011.
