Day 1 Queenstown: Day at leisure to explore this adventure playground with various excursions and activities on offer.
Day 2 Queenstown: Depart early this morning on a full day trip by coach to Milford Sound. The scenic trip starts on the drive down to the Sound, before you board your nature cruise to fully experience the Sound's dramatic cliffs and waterfalls. At the end of the day you will return back to Queenstown by coach.
Day 3 Queenstown/Invercargill: Depart this morning past the magnificent Remarkable mountain range as you head south to Invercargill, which is the southernmost city in New Zealand. Spend the afternoon exploring this small city (approx 2 hours 30 minutes).
Day 4 Invercargill: Day at leisure. Relax in one of the town's cafes, or take the boat over to neighbouring Stewart Island, with the forests, beaches and hills. This is one of the main places within New Zealand to spot the elusive kiwi birds, as well as a wide range of other bird varieties and flora and fauna.
Day 5 Invercargill/Dunedin: Today you have the option to travel either directly to Dunedin, or via the scenic Catalins. This route is beautiful and you will view different flora, fauna and wildlife en route (approx 3 hours).
Day 6 Dunedin: Day at leisure. Drop your hire car off this morning, with the remainder of the day free to explore the city with its strong Scottish connection (Dunedin is celtic for Edinburgh).
