General Information:
Cars can be rented by anyone with a current, full British driving licence (aged 21 years or over) which they have held for at least 12 months. If you are aged 75 or over, you will need a medical certificate stating you are fit enough to drive. Drivers under 25 are subject to a young driver surcharge of AU$27.50 per day, payable locally. One rental day consists of 24 consecutive hours. If hiring a car in New Zealand, you cannot take the car from the North Island to the South Island or vice versa. A separate vehicle is supplied in Wellington or Picton.Car information
