Our opinion
Here in solitude, four classic colonial bungalows built for British tea estate managers in the days of the Raj, have been sympathetically restored to now offer guests the unique experience of life on a working tea estate. Norwood (5 rooms), Summerville (4 rooms), Castlereagh (5 rooms) and Tientsin (6 rooms) are located between 2-9 miles apart. All are different with an eclectic style of their own. At each, you can unwind in beautiful gardens overlooking the spectacular plantations, visit a tea factory or spend an adventure-filled day biking, trekking and white-water rafting. An unforgettable step back in time, heritage with a contemporary style.
