Day 1 Depart UK: From selected UK airports.
Day 2 Delhi: Arrive in the Indian capital. Afternoon at leisure. You may simply like to relax at the hotel or perhaps take a bicycle rickshaw ride, visit Silver Street, tour the Red Fort or the stately government buildings which date back to the British era.
Day 3 Delhi/Nagpur/Kanha: Early morning transfer for your flight to Nagpur. On arrival in Nagpur, depart by road to Kanha, one of India’s largest national parks and the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's unforgettable classic “Jungle Book” (approx 5-6 hrs drive).
Day 4/5 Kanha: Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives each day within Kanha National Park. As well as tigers this is one of the best places in the state for bird watching. Species to look out for include storks, teals, egrets, pond herons, kingfishers and woodpeckers.
Day 6 Kanha/Bandhavgarh: Depart by road this morning to Bandhavgarh National Park, within the Vindhyan mountain range, which boasts the highest density of tiger population in the country (approx 7 hours drive)
Day 7/8 Bandhavgarh: Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives each day within Bandhavgarh National Park. In addition to tigers, the park also boasts leopards, sloth bears, bison along with many bird species.
Day 9 Bandhavgarh/Khajuraho: A day to admire the scenery as you depart by road to Khajuraho (approx 7 hours drive).
Day 10 Khajuraho/Delhk: This morning visit the Eastern and Western group of famous 10th century erotic temples, before taking your flight to Delhi.
Day 11 Delhi/London: Extend your stay? Or departure to the UK.
