So much to do...
Although unique in their own way both Jersey and Guernsey have one thing in common; their unrivalled talent for surprising you with the unexpected delights they hold within their shores. It’s not hard to imagine yourself relaxing on the beach and enjoying the laughter and fun that comes with building castles in the sand. An afternoon family stroll along the coast is the ideal way to round off the day, and a sumptuous meal awaits you back at your hotel. Alternatively if you fancy taking to the town and sampling delicious seafood or traditional French and English dishes there are plenty of restaurants which provide the perfect ambience for a memorable dinner.
Many of the hotels we feature have comprehensive kid’s club programmes to entertain your young ones if you fancy taking some time out and exploring the islands alone.
The rich culture and heritage of the islands provides scope for some fantastically historical days out, and the natural beauty of the surroundings enrich even the laziest of days. Treat yourself to an indulgent spa treatment in one of the luxurious island spas (for more information on which hotels these are available at please visit our Spas page) or pack up a picnic and head out with the family for a day of exploration.
Family days out...
There are plenty of stunning sites to marvel over, some of which are an absolute must for families. The striking coastlines that edge the islands and the fields of green that lie in the centre are only the beginning. Jersey boasts world-renowned attractions such as Durrell Wildlife and a host of spectacular events like the Battle of Flowers Parade.
The islands are awash with beautiful open parks ideal for picnics and there are fun things to do for kids at every turn.
If you’re going to be visiting a lot of the sites it’s definitely worth getting yourself a Jersey Pass which gives you access to many of the main attractions for free. These are available from the Jersey tourism website or alternatively just ask one of our Travel Consultants at the time of booking. Nothing says family holiday better than a walk through the striking countryside or an afternoon spent discovering new things.
