The capital of the Bahamas, Nassau, lies on Providence Island. The
old city has retained its old Georgian architectural charm with
numerous fascinating historical sites and bustling Bay Street is
adorned by pretty pastel-painted wooden shops.
Three miles outside the city is Cable Beach – the “Bahamian Riviera” where
exclusive resorts sit on over two miles of golden sand. A stone’s
throw from Nassau, and linked by two bridges, is Paradise Island.
