Rental age
Minimum age for main driver is 21 years (25 in Newfoundland). Drivers aged 21-25 years are required to pay a young driver’s fee of CA$25 per day, payable locally. All drivers must hold a valid passport and drivers licence. A credit card for security deposit is also required.
Additional drivers
Additional drivers are charged approximately CA$10 per day, payable locally. Ask about our Alamo Gold Insurance package for details on how to prepay for additional drivers.
Collision Damage Waiver
CDW is included in your rental package. CDW contractually waivers or limits the renter’s responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle. Standard rental agreement terms and conditions apply.
Liability Protection
Our rates provide the renter and authorised drivers with a combined single limit of CA$1,000,000 for third party claims that may be made by others against the renter and authorised drivers for bodily injury, death and/or property damage arising out of the use or operation of the Alamo vehicle. Conditions apply.
One way rentals
We are delighted to be able to offer you one way rentals enabling you to pick your car up at one airport and drop off at another. All one way rentals must be pre-booked, are subject to availability and may carry a drop off charge. Please ask for details.
Child seats
Provincial law requires the use of seat belts and child restraint seats. These do carry a small charge and must be pre-booked at the time of reservation.
