Day 1 Darwin/Bamurru Plains: Leave Darwin at lunchtime by scenic flight, taking approximately 20 minutes. On arrival you will be met and transerred by vehicle to the camp. Bamurru Plains is located to the west of Kakadu National Park, on the Mary River floodplains, where there is an abundance of bird and wildlife. On arrival you will have time to relax in your safari suite, all of which blend in with their surroundings, are individual, and on a raised timber platform ideal for sitting out, relaxing, and taking in the views.
Day 2 Bamurru Plains: A full day at leisure. Scheduled excursions on offer during your stay include 4WD open top safaris, river cruises to spot crocodiles on the Sampman River, an air boat tour of the wetland floodplains, or wildlife and bird watch on the floodplains or neighbouring savannah. Alternatively, take a bush walk to learn about this fragile eco system and the local flora and fauna.
Day 3 Bamurru Plains/Darwin: Choose from one of the scheduled excursions for the morning, before you depart for your lunchtime flight back to Darwin where your tour concludes.

Minimum 2 night stay required. Children under 12 years are not permitted within the resort. Flight luggage is limited to 15kgs per person in soft bags. The resort is closed during the monsoon between 01 Nov-31 Jan each year.
