Kakadu - 1 night



Day 1 Darwin/Kakadu National Park: Depart Darwin and travel into Kakadu National Park. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre for an insight into the culture and history the park holds for its traditional owners. Join a guided cruise on Yellow Water Billabong, Kakadu’s most famous wetland area. Watch for saltwater crocodiles and the diverse birdlife. After lunch, travel to Nourlangie Rock art site and view the ancient galleries of Aboriginal rock art.

Day 2 Kakadu/Darwin: Travel to Ubirr to see Aboriginal rock art, dating back 20,000 years. Enjoy views of the Nardab floodplains before joining Aboriginal guides for a cruise on the East Alligator River. By special permission, walk into Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre and view displays about the park. Stop at Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while watching the changing light over the wetlands. Then return to Darwin, where the tour concludes.
