Hunter Valley - 1 night
Day 1 Sydney/Hunter Valley: Depart the city via the Harbour Bridge and travel through the spectacular Hawkesbury district, stopping at historic Wollombi for morning tea. Travel to Lindemans Winery to enjoy a private wine tasting. Visit the home of Luetongue Beer and enjoy a tasting paddle of the available varieties (at your own expense). Then view an introductory DVD which explains the wine making process. Enjoy a smorgasbord of tasting platters, offering you a range of dishes for lunch. Following lunch, you will be taken to you rhotel for the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Hunter Valley/Sydney: Enjoy a buffet breakfast this morning and then time at leisure. You may choose to simply relax by the hotel swimming pool, enjoy a heavenly massage or perhaps go horse riding. Alternatively, take advantage of the many activities the Hunter Valley has to offer, such as a round of golf, perhaps just enjoy a leisurely stroll or maybe visit the delightful arts and crafts shops. Early afternoon you will be collected from your hotel by the coach and driven to enjoy boutique wine at its best with a tating at Oakvale. One of Australia's oldest working wineries, Oakvale was established in 1893 and occupies a 135 acre site nestled under the Hunter Valley's famous Brokenback Range. Return journey to Sydney, where you are due to arrive early evening.
